Artists B. Evan Davis, Elizabeth Osborne and Susan Ker-Seymer have decided that when others are "cutting back," they would like to "give back." When economic times are challenging, charities are often the first to suffer and animal rescue is at the bottom of the list.
LifeLine Animal Project is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in the Atlanta area. Dogs and cats are given medical and/or behavioral care before they find new families. LifeLine's website AtlantaPets.org is home to Atlanta's largest online pet adoption network, and the Spay & Neuter Clinic has performed more than 15,000 low or no-cost spay/neuter surgeries.
B. Evan Davis and Elizabeth Osborne, long time artists, pet enthusiasts and Atlanta residents share a studio in the Vi/Hi area. Susan KerSeymer works from her home studio and the B Complex. The artists have joined forces to create a sale combining photography, oil paintings, encaustics and monotypes. Prices will range between $100 and $800 with 25% of all sales benefiting LifeLine Animal Project. This is a great opportunity to spend that "Stimulus" money on a worthwhile endeavor and get a wonderful art piece for your home or office.
